Yukihiko Kikuta
I make things
that keep moving,
quietly.
This is not a place
that asks you to hurry.
It is a quiet entrance
to a sense of someone.
Entrance
Not a list of activities.
A small entrance to a person.
No rush.
No push.
Still here.
Making things.
Fixing things.
Keeping things in order.
Leaving things where they can be found.
A place to open again,
only when you need it.
Legacy / Code
Code, kept.
The source of an iPhone quiz I wrote, LoLQuiz, remains on GitHub. Written in Objective-C, it connects CSV loading, four choices, scoring, and a results screen.
The files carry the name Kikuta Yukihiko and creation dates in 2015. The surviving Git registration is from 2019. I keep those two dates separate.
In 2026, I carried that structure into Kokuchijiko, my original work: a character archive and a web quiz for 124 people, with 123 portraits and one record without a face. New tools have arrived; making, checking, and fixing things continues.
Implementation and verifiable records
The old source shows Objective-C, Xcode, UIKit, Storyboard, CSV processing, loadProblemSet, shuffleProblemSet, choiceText1–4, correctAnswers, ten-question rounds, and integer percentages passed to ResultViewController. The project and files are linked from the fixed revision above.
ViewController also contains Game Center authentication and a leaderboard screen. The presence of this implementation does not prove that it worked on a device at the time.
Problem carries an April 17, 2015 creation note; the quiz and results files carry April 13 notes. The surviving Git commit is July 11, 2019. App Store publication and the completed state on an iPhone remain unverified. Old third-party characters and images are neither reproduced here nor reused in the new game. The two making-history articles on PEAKHEADZ START are being prepared for publication.
Traces
Things left quietly
Things nearby
Not the main thing.
But close enough.
Open them quietly,
only when you need to.
